About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the end-to-end electronic onboarding process and ensure timely completion of employment documentation
  • Coordinate occupational health testing, background checks, I-9 employment verifications, credential verification, education verification, and other pre-employment requirements
  • Ensure compliance with established guidelines and licensing codes
  • Coordinate with IT to set up employee access and equipment
  • Set up employee profiles in internal HR systems and trackers
  • Assist with filing new-hire paperwork and maintaining audit-ready personnel files
  • Monitor new-employee progress, identify delays or compliance risks, resolve issues, or escalate appropriately
  • Communicate with candidates, managers, and internal stakeholders throughout onboarding
  • Schedule new-hire orientation, track attendance, and document outcomes
  • Audit and maintain employee information and credentials according to licensing standards
  • Audit HR-system data for discrepancies and compliance issues
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
  • Support audit preparation and ongoing compliance initiatives with HR leadership
  • Complete assigned training
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in HR operations, onboarding, credentialing, or related administrative roles in a regulated environment preferred
  • Experience supporting compliance or audit processes strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office required
  • Experience navigating HRIS platforms and multiple systems preferred
  • HRIS experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal standards and regulating body standards
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems, databases, and manual trackers simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and remote teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
  • High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
