About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train, coach, and supervise Needs Assessment Coordinators
- Carry out personnel management activities, including screening and selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, and employee functions
- Cultivate and manage relationships with staff and referral partners
- Support Needs Assessment Coordinators by taking calls during high-volume periods
- Collaborate with departments across the organization
- Ensure accuracy of bed management software for bed availability and scheduling
- Hold coordinators accountable to role standards
- Monitor quality by evaluating coordinator documentation and phone calls
- Serve as subject matter expert for Needs Assessment Coordinator duties
- Handle delegated on-call work
- Deliver key data in an actionable format
- Develop the team’s abilities and knowledge to support an industry-leading admissions team
- Complete data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting to support system/process pathway changes, identify quality concerns, and identify potential risks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or higher in a human services field preferred
- Experience in a health or human services agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting
- Previous management experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact well with people of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
- Ability to work independently and in group problem-solving situations
- Initiative in problem solving
- Ability to handle a crisis and react appropriately
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to make decisions in an objective and ethical manner
- Calm and decisive in crisis situations
