About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate, configure, and further develop terminal server and application delivery environments using Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
Manage and further develop the Windows server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies (GPOs)
Perform automated patching and identify and remediate security vulnerabilities on Windows systems
Handle incidents and service requests through the ticketing system as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Maintain system and process documentation
Further develop operational standards
Operate and further develop the Citrix and Windows server infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in computer science/IT
Extensive experience administering Windows server infrastructures, including Active Directory, DNS, and GPOs
Experience managing and administering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (VDA)
Experience with patch management solutions is an advantage
Understanding of IT security and vulnerability management
Structured, independent approach to work and strong team-oriented skills
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Very good German language skills (at least C1 level)
Good English language skills (at least B2 level)
At the start of employment, an unblemished basic certificate of good conduct
At the start of employment, a signed internal declaration confirming orderly financial circumstances
