About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support to IT projects and programmes
  • Work with project managers and technical leads to deliver IT solutions
  • Contribute across the IT project lifecycle from conception through to in-service
  • Deliver hardware/software builds and systems installation and integration
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Deliver outputs and pragmatic solutions, including technical presentations, technical documentation, test plans and reports, user guides, work instructions, and design or process documents
  • Undertake tasks with moderate guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience of working in an IT engineering role
  • Ability to work with a broad and comprehensive range of concepts and principles within IT
  • Broad experience of Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and Linux
  • A first degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Willingness to go through DV Clearance
  • Willingness to learn
  • Role is 37 hours per week
