About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design secure infrastructure and platform solutions for highly classified environments
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across delivery teams and engineering disciplines
- Produce high-level and detailed technical designs, delivery plans and supporting documentation
- Support integration of server, virtualisation, networking and security technologies
- Ensure solutions comply with relevant technical, security and engineering standards
- Support customer engagements, bids and business-winning activities
- Work alongside project managers, architects and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Deliver secure, scalable and fit-for-purpose infrastructure solutions supporting national security programmes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active eDV clearance
- Strong background in enterprise server and infrastructure technologies
- Experience designing and delivering complex networked IT solutions
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and associated infrastructure platforms
- Experience producing technical architecture and design documentation
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering complex IT infrastructure solutions within secure environments
- Must hold eDV Clearance
- Ability to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Minimum average site attendance of five days per week at the Malvern site
