About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver reliable SQL data extracts for regulatory reporting, audits, and internal controls
  • Own daily run tickets with increasing autonomy
  • Analyse data and create or improve reporting dashboards and visualisations
  • Maintain and improve existing technical tools and code using SQL and/or Python
  • Contribute to or take ownership of a longer-term technical project
  • Support Risk & Compliance teams responding to regulators, internal auditors, and controllers
  • Explore how AI can make risk and compliance work smarter
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and receive mentoring from Vatsal Parekh and Omayma Nayma

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally an M2 / final-year student (gap-year candidates welcome) in Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering
  • From an engineering school or technically strong university programme
  • School must be able to issue a convention de stage
  • Fluency in Python and/or SQL
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and structure a real project
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous relevant data or engineering internship is a plus
  • Experience with dashboards or maintaining existing tools is a plus
  • Interest in fintech and banking
  • Willingness to learn the compliance context
