About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design Qonto’s credit and investment experience as the company grows into a bank
Design 0-to-1 credit and investment features for business owners
Lead market and user research and explore multiple solution directions
Speak directly with customers during discovery
Incorporate regulatory, backend, and partner constraints into design decisions
Work with Legal, Risk, and Compliance and challenge constraints when appropriate
Own designs from initial sketches through specifications, delivery, QA, launch, and iteration
Contribute to the design system
Build solutions with the product manager and a new technology team from the ground up
Align with internal teams to maintain a consistent user experience
Report to Christina, Product Design Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior product design experience with shipped end-to-end product work
Portfolio showing rationale, outcomes, and polished craft
Product thinking and ability to evaluate solution trade-offs against business impact
Experience turning complex, regulated processes into enjoyable user experiences
Solution-oriented ownership and ability to work independently amid ambiguity
Ability to collaborate with PMs, engineers, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and partners
Ability to explain design decisions, receive feedback, and resolve disagreement
Experience using AI tools across research, exploration, and prototyping
Ability to validate AI outputs and apply human judgment
Ability to prioritize, identify trade-offs, and maintain quality in regulated environments
Portfolio with 2–3 shipped projects in English, showing the problem, role, decisions, and outcome
