About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build Qonto's AI Software Factory, starting with autonomous bug resolution
- Own the product direction and decide which solutions to offer engineers
- Learn how engineers work and validate that the tool fits their workflows
- Restructure the AI Software Factory
- Ship agents for bug resolution, code review, QA, auto-approval, and safe auto-merge
- Set success metrics, interpret results, and iterate quickly
- Promote the product across engineering and collect feedback
- Report to Laetitia Riffaud, AI Core Team Lead
- Collaborate using upfront technical design, team code reviews, smart slicing, Kaizen, and PDCA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong engineering skills, including writing and critically reviewing code
- Ability to read and understand Python
- Mature personal setup for coding with AI
- Knowledge of models, prompting, and evaluation
- Product mindset and ability to challenge user needs
- Ability to run work end-to-end
- Pragmatic focus on shipping quickly when direction is unclear
- Comfort with shifting priorities
- Ability to make decisions within a day
