About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer incoming phone calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance companies
  • Make outbound calls to patients and physician offices to obtain information or provide case updates
  • Review case history and insurance correspondence to provide information to callers
  • Communicate benefit investigation results to patients and physicians
  • Pre-qualify patients for available financial assistance
  • Complete special projects assigned by management
  • Meet productivity and quality goals set by call center management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Previous call center experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to listen and work well with others
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly and navigate through different computer applications
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
