About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide primary support to the HR Manager
- Administer core HR services for employees and managers according to corporate and site policies and procedures
- Perform employment-related functions and act as site liaison with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll centers of excellence
- Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Manage employee data recording and filing in electronic and hardcopy formats
- Manage Leave of Absence requests in accordance with federal, state, and company guidelines
- Communicate company policies and procedures
- Support employee performance evaluation administration
- Ensure site/regional compliance with workers' compensation and state and federal law
- Provide employee relations support to leads, supervisors, and managers under the site HR Manager
- Communicate Human Resources information to employees
- Support unemployment insurance compliance and reporting
- Provide applicable reports and HR-related administrative support
- Champion and adhere to company guidelines and policies
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Experience with UKG and SAP SuccessFactors preferred
- Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred or equivalent years of experience required
- Two - three years of Human Resources job experience preferred, including business partner and employee relations experience
- Experience supporting non-exempt personnel in a high-volume environment preferred
- Problem and conflict resolution skills required
- SHRM-CP/PHR or willingness to obtain certification preferred
- Ability to work on-site supporting a high-volume call center environment
- Knowledge of leave management, including FMLA/ADA, policy adherence, employee relations, and conflict resolution
