About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete up to 64 hours of paid pre-licensing training
- Support customers by phone and email with new policy quotes and billing inquiries
- Process endorsements, cancellations, and coverage updates
- Navigate underwriting questions and explain insurance protection to clients
- Ensure transactions comply with industry regulations and internal quality standards
- Transition from trainee to licensed Property & Casualty insurance professional
- Work remotely from a home office using employer-provided equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in customer service
- Call center experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check
- Commitment to the full 8-week training schedule
- Ability to take the state exam in the greater Charleston, South Carolina area
- Wired internet service installed directly into the home, such as cable, fiber-optic, or DSL broadband
- Wireless-only internet services are not allowed
- Qualfon computer must connect directly to the home router or modem using an Ethernet cable
- Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi extenders, mesh systems, boosters, cellular hotspots, fixed wireless, and satellite internet are not allowed
- Proof of internet service provider and service required upon hire
- Strong attention to detail when handling legal documents and applications
- Ability to communicate complex insurance terminology clearly to customers
