About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the growth and go-to-market strategy for the U.S. Life Sciences and Payers vertical
  • Identify, prioritize, and penetrate high-value accounts and market segments
  • Own and exceed annual revenue goals across net-new ACV, expansion revenue, and renewals
  • Drive customer adoption, platform utilization, market expansion, and long-term customer value
  • Lead multi-product enterprise sales motions across complex buying centers and stakeholder groups
  • Build C-suite relationships and demonstrate measurable business impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on the U.S. Life Sciences and Payers ecosystem, industry trends, regulations, and market opportunities
  • Build strategic partnerships with healthcare consulting firms, systems integrators, technology providers, and industry influencers
  • Develop joint go-to-market initiatives to expand reach, generate pipeline, and increase win rates
  • Recruit, develop, and retain sales leaders and Enterprise Account Executives
  • Foster accountability, coaching, inclusion, continuous improvement, engagement, and career development
  • Establish operating rhythms focused on data-driven decisions, forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and performance management
  • Partner with Sales Operations on territory planning, resource allocation, sales productivity, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Solution Engineering, and Executive Leadership
  • Advocate for market needs, influence product strategy, and ensure customer adoption, retention, and expansion
  • Champion customer-first growth, executive sponsorship, measurable outcomes, strategic expansion, and advocacy
  • Model Qualtrics leadership principles and foster collaboration, transparency, innovation, and high performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant enterprise SaaS sales experience, with significant tenure leading enterprise sales teams, ideally selling directly into the US Life Sciences and/or Payers markets
  • 2+ years of second-line executive sales leadership experience managing multi-layered teams preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding complex vertical revenue targets within rapidly scaling organizations ($1B to $5B+)
  • Expertise in direct selling methods and building and co-selling alongside strategic partner networks
  • Proven operational success leading multi-product, enterprise software motions with long, complex decision-making cycles
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. Life Sciences and Payer ecosystem, including health plans, PBMs, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology organizations
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment, reimbursement models, market access strategies, and key executive stakeholders
  • Experience with complex, enterprise-wide SaaS sales cycles involving multi-buyer consensus
  • Ability to build, negotiate, and leverage partner ecosystem relationships
  • Exceptional operational discipline using sales analytics, KPIs, and structured inspection mechanisms
  • Experience engaging directly in complex sales cycles and coaching teams through high-stakes negotiations
