About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement autonomous AI workflows that automate software development, maintenance, support, and operational activities
  • Build multi-agent systems for root-cause analysis, bug investigation, code modification, testing, validation, and deployment with minimal human intervention
  • Create AI-driven support automation that analyzes customer issues, proposes resolutions, implements fixes, and validates outcomes
  • Develop autonomous vulnerability remediation workflows using tools such as Aikido Security and AI-powered code agents
  • Establish frameworks for repetitive engineering activities across multiple products and technology stacks
  • Create reusable agent architectures, prompts, workflows, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and governance models
  • Design centralized AI management and observability platforms for monitoring, orchestration, and governance at scale
  • Measure and improve automation effectiveness, engineering productivity, support efficiency, remediation time, and operational cost reduction
  • Identify opportunities to transition manual engineering processes into AI-managed workflows
  • Drive adoption of AI-native operational models that reduce dependence on product-specific expertise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 6 or more years of professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on C# and .NET experience
  • 2–3 years or demonstrated expertise building and operating agentic AI systems in production environments
  • Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents, autonomous software development workflows, and multi-agent orchestration platforms
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenHands, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience designing AI workflows for software development, testing, support, DevOps, security remediation, or operational engineering
  • Strong understanding of AI evaluation frameworks, guardrails, safety mechanisms, observability, and governance
  • Experience integrating AI agents into CI/CD pipelines and software engineering workflows
  • Ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar codebases and technology stacks using AI-assisted approaches
  • Strong software engineering background sufficient to review, validate, and improve AI-generated solutions
  • Experience delivering measurable productivity, automation, or cost-reduction outcomes through AI technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory and Exchange is nice to have
  • Experience with on-premises products and C#/.NET on the Microsoft technical stack is nice to have
  • Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI Agents
  • Experience with AI-powered development environments such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or GitHub Copilot
  • Experience with security remediation platforms such as Aikido Security
  • Experience with automated code review and vulnerability remediation systems
  • Experience with AI observability and evaluation platforms
  • Experience with agent governance and safety controls
  • Experience with autonomous CI/CD and release automation
  • Experience with AI-assisted support and customer issue resolution systems
  • Experience developing and maintaining YAML CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar systems
  • Candidate must be located in Canada
