About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead sales and technical training on Quilt product knowledge, system design, installation best practices, commissioning, troubleshooting, and the Quilt selling experience
- Train new partners through onboarding and provide ongoing education
- Travel to partner locations, regional training events, and trade shows for hands-on training and ride-alongs with installation crews
- Host webinars and remote training sessions between in-person visits
- Guide partners through Quilt’s certification process and track progress in the Learning Management System
- Answer partner questions, troubleshoot installation and product issues, and direct partners to appropriate resources
- Update guides, videos, and course content as products and software change
- Report partner questions, installation challenges, and training gaps to the training team
- Bring field feedback to product and training teams to improve programs and products
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in technical training, field training, or enablement, ideally in HVAC, home services, clean energy, or building trades
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain product and installation details clearly
- Excellent facilitation skills for hands-on workshops, virtual webinars, and sales training sessions
- Comfortable using an LMS such as Docebo, Lessonly, Litmos, Absorb, or similar
- Organized and self-directed; able to manage travel schedules and work independently in the field
- Excitement about home energy and heat pump technology
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively, averaging 50–75%
- HVAC industry knowledge, heat pumps, ducted and ductless systems, and refrigeration fundamentals are nice to have
- Hands-on installation or service experience is nice to have
- Experience creating or editing training videos and written guides is nice to have
- Background in residential construction, home performance, or building science is nice to have
- NATE certification or other HVAC industry credentials is nice to have
