About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with managing and optimizing high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max
  • Work inside ad accounts spending seven figures per month
  • Collaborate with senior media buyers on campaign strategy, optimization, scaling, and budget allocation
  • Monitor campaign performance and flag problems, opportunities, and unusual changes
  • Identify campaigns, ads, states, and markets where spend should be scaled, reduced, or reallocated
  • Launch campaigns, ad sets, ads, and creative tests across Meta and Google
  • Assist with weekly and monthly spend pacing across platforms and states
  • Maintain media buying Google Sheets and reporting for accurate performance data, spend tracking, and pacing
  • Monitor campaigns over weekends when needed
  • Turn campaigns on or off when directed, including occasionally outside normal business hours
  • Analyze working ads and angles and help expand them across states, markets, and platforms
  • Analyze underperforming states and identify potential causes
  • Review creative diversity and identify missing formats, styles, angles, or concepts
  • Research competitors and bring relevant ads, strategies, and ideas to the team
  • Communicate performance insights to the creative team
  • Continuously improve understanding of scaling, creative strategy, campaign structure, budget allocation, and performance analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be based in the United States
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • Hands-on experience with Meta and/or Google Ads
  • Experience working inside six-figure monthly ad spend accounts
  • Experience with campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max
  • Strong interest in media buying and desire to master it
  • Ability to analyze performance data and identify why performance is changing
  • Understanding that creative is a major driver of paid advertising performance
  • Interest in scaling winning ads and angles across markets
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Fast and reliable execution
  • Ability to ask good questions and learn quickly
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback
  • Ability to bring ideas and observations to the team
  • Interest in advertising, creative strategy, and ongoing industry developments
