About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and optimize high-spend campaigns across Meta and Google, including YouTube, Search, and Performance Max
  • Identify scaling opportunities, budget reallocation opportunities, performance inefficiencies, underperforming markets, testing gaps, and new strategies
  • Collaborate with media buyers and leadership on cross-platform and state-level budget strategy
  • Identify winning ads, angles, concepts, and creative opportunities across markets and platforms
  • Bridge performance data and the creative team by communicating what is working, gaining traction, fatigued, or needed
  • Diagnose underperforming states and build and execute improvement plans
  • Own weekly and monthly spend planning and pacing
  • Manage cross-platform and state-level budget allocation
  • Launch campaigns and creative across Meta and Google
  • Maintain key media buying Google Sheets and reporting
  • Track performance and develop testing frameworks
  • Maintain campaign structure and account organization
  • Monitor campaigns, spend, volume, and high-spending problem campaigns or ads, including over weekends when necessary
  • Turn campaigns on or off and make critical changes outside normal business hours when directed
  • Research new advertising strategies, creative trends, campaign structures, platforms, tools, and testing methodologies
  • Bring ideas, challenge assumptions, run tests, learn from results, and iterate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Based in the United States
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • Actively managed $1M+ per month in ad spend
  • Highly experienced with Meta and/or Google
  • Experience managing 7-figure monthly ad spend
  • Strong ability to analyze large amounts of performance data and identify what matters
  • Ability to identify potential winning ads early and expand them
  • Understanding of budget allocation at scale
  • Understanding of performance across platforms, markets, and creatives
  • Understanding of creative diversity and its impact on performance
  • Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
  • Extremely analytical without becoming slow
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Constantly brings new ideas and tests to the table
  • Willingness to check campaigns over weekends when necessary
  • Willingness to make critical changes outside normal business hours when directed by leadership
