About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution across the Pacific Northwest regional territory
  • Drive revenue growth and develop key customer and partner relationships
  • Lead, manage, and motivate Account Executives across the region
  • Mentor the team on prospecting, territory planning, complex deal strategy, negotiation, and closing techniques
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and deal inspections to ensure forecast accuracy and mitigate risks
  • Drive achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets for Qumulo’s file and object data platform
  • Develop and execute a regional strategy targeting enterprise and high-growth data-intensive industries in the PNW
  • Build joint go-to-market strategies and collaborative revenue with Cisco, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI
  • Engage personally in executive-level customer meetings to sponsor and close major deals
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Alliances, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Own the PNW region as a business by setting strategy, developing talent, inspecting pipeline, driving forecast accuracy, and creating accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of successful sales management experience leading a field sales team focused on enterprise accounts
  • 8+ years of progressive enterprise software, SaaS, Cloud, or infrastructure sales experience
  • Established network of enterprise contacts in the Pacific Northwest territory, including Seattle, Portland, and surrounding areas
  • Proven expertise in selling enterprise data storage, data management, cloud services, and/or high-performance computing (HPC) solutions
  • Demonstrated history of personal and team success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a field sales team
  • Experience with complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience developing customer and partner relationships
  • U.S. work authorization or sponsorship-status disclosure required in the application
