Key responsibilities & impact

Lead architectural discovery and translate complex data challenges into scalable file, object, and hybrid-cloud storage solutions
Deliver high-level design strategies and hands-on technical validation
Partner with enterprise account executives to steer deal strategy and build compelling technical proposals
Drive customer evaluations, proofs-of-concept, and competitive displacements
Cultivate long-term technical relationships with CIOs, VPs of Engineering, and storage leads
Demystify hybrid-cloud architectures and guide customers from proof-of-concept to production
Travel up to 50% across the Pacific Northwest United States

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in enterprise presales engineering
Proven track record supporting complex sales cycles across cloud, distributed systems, or large-scale data platforms
Deep technical foundation in hybrid cloud architectures, unstructured data, and modern storage environments spanning edge, core, and cloud models
Familiarity with distributed file, object, or cloud storage ecosystems
Strong fluency in SMB, NFS, and S3
Solid command-line operational experience in Linux/Unix or Windows environments
Demonstrated success leading whiteboarding sessions, technical discovery, hands-on demonstrations, and competitive proofs-of-concept
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical enterprise experience
Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications preferred
Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
