About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist new and existing RACV members visiting the Traralgon store
  • Handle enquiries about Home and Car Insurance, Emergency Assistance products, Travel Insurance, and attraction tickets
  • Assist the Memberline Contact Centre with inbound home and motor insurance calls
  • Provide immediate and effective solutions through meaningful and personalised conversations
  • Identify member needs, educate members, and offer suitable motoring solutions
  • Deliver exceptional, customer-centric service experiences
  • Complete 7 weeks of full-time paid training, including virtual classroom work, retail-store experience, buddy sessions, and ongoing support
  • Work a fixed roster on a 6-week cycle after training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Face to face customer service experience
  • Over the phone customer service experience
  • Prior experience achieving sales targets and KPIs is highly regarded but not essential
  • Self-driven and motivated to succeed
  • Proficient in navigating through multiple systems
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to providing a positive member experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
  • Significant experience working in a phone-based customer service environment is highly regarded
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia
  • Consent to a criminal record check
