About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic clinical leadership and high-quality, accessible services across Outreach programs and Residential Support Services
- Provide clinical direction and programming for Outreach programs and Residential Housing Services
- Convey and carry out the agency Mission Statement and Service Philosophy
- Oversee treatment programming, including groups, activities, treatment planning, and treatment-related policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, payer, contractual, and professional practice requirements
- Partner with Operations to meet program compliance requirements
- Lead program growth, innovation, service integration, and geographic or community expansion initiatives
- Monitor quality, access, productivity, utilization, client outcomes, and operational performance; initiate corrective action
- Manage and monitor program budgets and improve sustainability, efficiency, and revenue performance
- Maintain performance documentation for direct reports
- Assign duties to Program Directors
- Supervise Program Directors, including evaluations, development plans, and corrective action
- Oversee mandated training and provide individual training as needed
- Conduct training in Evidence Based Practices and other relevant areas
- Identify, support, write, and obtain grants and funding
- Partner with marketing and talent acquisition on program sustainability, growth, and community engagement
- Lead quality improvement, risk management, incident review, and corrective action activities
- Attend community provider meetings, conferences, and external training
- Manage DHS, MA, Federal, Department of Health, and County program inspections
- Investigate and report suspected abuse and neglect
- Review and resolve client and employee grievances
- Ensure timely completion of program evaluations
- Hire relevant positions in coordination with Human Resources
- Participate in on-call emergencies and rotation as needed
- Provide cross-coverage for other Senior Clinical Directors
- Complete paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner
- Attend and facilitate Managers Meetings
- Maintain regular work hours, confidentiality, professional growth, and appropriate supervision
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer and Executive Leadership team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be licensed as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Minnesota
- A Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences or related field
- Minimum of 4,000 hours of work experience providing services to mentally ill persons
- Minimum of 4,000 hours of experience in administration or supervision
- 5 or more years progressively responsible leadership experience in behavioral health, healthcare, housing, human services or a closely related setting
- Demonstrated ability to use data, financial information, and quality measures to guide decisions and improve performance
- Knowledge of applicable behavioral health regulations, payer or contractual requirements, privacy expectations, and quality improvement practices
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
