About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Project Managers with planning, governance, reporting and project controls across projects and smaller change initiatives
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, RAID logs, status reports, actions, decisions and governance materials
  • Coordinate stakeholder input, meetings, workshops and follow-up actions
  • Track milestones, dependencies and progress, owning assigned actions through to completion
  • Identify and monitor risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and delivery concerns, escalating appropriately
  • Coordinate delivery activities across business, technology and third-party stakeholders
  • Lead defined workstreams or lower-complexity projects within agreed scope, tolerances and oversight arrangements
  • Develop Project Management capability through coaching, feedback, hands-on experience and participation in the wider Project Management community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Experience of, or the ability to, maintain project plans, milestones, actions, RAID logs and supporting documentation accurately and consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coordinate meetings, workshops, stakeholder activities and follow-up actions
  • Ability to identify and appropriately escalate risks, issues, dependencies and delivery concerns
  • Structured and logical approach to planning, organising and managing work
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business, technology and third-party teams
  • Willingness to learn and develop Project Management knowledge, tools, techniques and delivery methodologies
  • Awareness of Project Management tools, techniques and delivery methodologies, or willingness to develop this knowledge
  • Exposure to change, transformation or project delivery within a regulated or corporate environment
  • Experience coordinating activities across business, technology or third-party teams
  • Interest in pensions, investments or financial services
