About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop the agency’s commercial and operational activities in a strategic industrial area
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Organize and participate in demonstrations and trade shows
  • Maintain expertise in equipment, regulations, technical and quality requirements, and rental returns
  • Monitor complex customer projects and provide project management
  • Provide cross-functional management of operations and a partner network
  • Analyze the market and conduct competitive intelligence
  • Define and implement a business development and operations action plan
  • Manage and train subcontractors
  • Recruit and supervise future Account Managers and/or Technicians
  • Manage the income statement and control costs and margins
  • Track key performance indicators and provide regular reports to the France Sales Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in business development within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AURA) industrial area
  • Strong interest and extensive experience in fluid management, water treatment, decontamination, and related fields
  • Excellent knowledge of key stakeholders across the region’s industrial base
  • Fluent French
  • Basic English proficiency
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility, results- and growth-oriented, and strategically minded
  • Regional travel required
  • Based in the Lyon region
