About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Become an expert in the RainFocus platform
- Train client administrators on RainFocus tools and processes
- Configure the RainFocus platform
- Work with clients to identify business requirements and workflows
- Facilitate holistic system design and architecture workshops
- Identify platform configuration requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks to achieve implementation success
- Follow best practices for implementing RainFocus products
- Consult with clients on new ideas and best practices
- Document requirements, solution designs, and testing plans
- Provide regular milestone and task updates to project managers
- Provide project managers with level-of-effort estimates
- Communicate issues and risks to project managers and leadership
- Lead solution project calls and client demos
- Balance priorities across multiple assignments
- Track tasks thoroughly and complete assignments on time
- Contribute to implementation tools, processes, and templates
- Mentor, train, and build consulting skills with peers as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Software implementation experience: 2–7+ years for Solution Consultants; 7+ years for Senior Solution Consultants
- SaaS solutions delivery through platform configuration, not custom development
- Experience implementing SaaS platforms for enterprise-level clients, including gathering and documenting complex requirements, configurations, and integrations
- Proven success creating efficiencies through process design, including outlining and measuring adoption, internally and client-facing
- Ability to think strategically to ensure solutions support business goals
- Proven track record delivering innovative and creative solutions
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and improvise
- Ability to perform consistently under pressure
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Team-player orientation
- Must be able to travel domestically or internationally up to 20%
- HTML, CSS, SQL, and JSON are optional/preferred
- Ability to creatively solve complex problems
- Friendly and outgoing, while assertive when necessary
- Willingness to go the extra mile for reasonable client requests
