About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the evolution of enterprise data platforms and digital products, defining the vision, roadmap, backlog, priorities, risks and metrics
Work with business areas to understand problems, design solutions and track the results achieved
Design and evolve data products, pipelines, APIs, integrations, automations and artificial intelligence agents
Establish standards for data and AI quality, cataloging, lineage, access, security, privacy and governance
Participate in architecture decisions, ensuring scalable, secure, integrated, well-documented and production-ready solutions
Organize the agile development workflow and establish best practices for Git, code review, testing, documentation and release management
Work with Cloud, SRE and Security teams to define observability, availability, CI/CD, incident management, contingency planning and rollback procedures
Lead prototypes, experiments and MVPs, while supporting the responsible adoption of data and AI across the company

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field
Relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, data platforms or digital products
Experience building or evolving digital products and platforms
Hands-on experience implementing artificial intelligence solutions
Advanced knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with Python
Experience with data architecture and modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, integrations and relational databases
Knowledge of data quality, cataloging, lineage, security, privacy and governance
Knowledge of solution architecture and availability, security, performance and scalability requirements
Experience with Git, including branches, commits, pull requests and code review
Experience with agile methods, roadmap and backlog organization, prioritization and acceptance criteria definition
Knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals, environment separation, software releases, observability and incident management
Experience with AI-assisted development tools, while maintaining technical review, testing and security
Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects or teams and translate business needs into technical solutions
Graduate degree or certifications in Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Solution Architecture, Digital Products or Agile Methods are a plus
Experience as the owner of an enterprise platform or data product is a plus
Experience with generative AI, agents, RAG, MCP and governed tools is a plus
Experience with solution architecture on AWS is a plus
Knowledge of Cognito, IAM, OAuth, SSO and identity and access management is a plus
Experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, events, queues and service-oriented architecture is a plus
Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, containers and managed cloud services is a plus
Knowledge of SLI, SLOs, error budgets, disaster recovery and restoration testing is a plus
Experience with product management, discovery, experimentation, UX/UI and digital journeys is a plus
Knowledge of Brazil's LGPD, information security and AI governance is a plus
Experience in the education sector is a plus
Experience with data and AI adoption programs or technology vendor coordination is a plus
