Key responsibilities & impact

Troubleshoot and maintain office servers, networks, and employee equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, telephones, and headsets
Configure, stage, and ship server- and workstation-related hardware
Set up new hires with equipment, workstations, software, hardware, wiring, and IT orientation tasks
Train staff on IT-related equipment and applications
Participate in system design and planning for corporate and customer IT systems
Maintain accurate documentation and diagrams of IT systems
Monitor and report on system performance and key metrics
Provide technical support and troubleshoot user problems
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
Design and maintain infrastructure systems and business application servers
Perform hardware and software installations and operating-system patching
Improve internal support procedures
Plan and recommend distributed and enterprise hardware-systems management software and architecture
Perform systems administration, including configuration management, OS installations, security updates, and urgent patching
Support and optimize AI-powered solutions, automation platforms, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI services
Support and maintain healthcare imaging environments, including PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7 integrations, imaging workstations, and related infrastructure
Administer infrastructure maintenance and upgrades for internal software and hardware resources
Implement, support, administer, and manage Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, CentOS, and Ubuntu
Manage user issues and update tickets for accurate record keeping
Prepare hardware for customer-facing demos
Monitor remote-system performance and perform performance tuning

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in systems administration, network administration, desktop support, IT infrastructure, or a related technical role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and other Microsoft cloud and SaaS technologies
Experience supporting and administering Windows and macOS endpoints, including hardware, operating systems, applications, device configuration, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, network adapters, peripherals, and diagnostic equipment
Strong knowledge of networking technologies and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VPNs, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting
Experience with firewall, routing, and network security technologies, including Azure networking and platforms such as Cisco, Netgate/pfSense, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and SonicWall
Experience with endpoint management, device provisioning, software deployment, patching, imaging, monitoring, and remote-support technologies
Experience with endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, endpoint protection, EDR, and security policy management
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, automation platforms, and Microsoft Copilot technologies
Working knowledge of scripting and automation, such as PowerShell or comparable scripting technologies
Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) are preferred; candidates actively working toward these certifications will also be considered
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation, knowledge articles, vendor documentation, manuals, and troubleshooting procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer-service skills and ability to provide technical assistance, guidance, and user training
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with IT team members, other departments, and external vendors
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to manage multiple incidents, requests, and technical initiatives
Ability to document technical issues, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions clearly and accurately
Ability to occasionally lift equipment weighing up to approximately 20 kg (44 lbs.)
