About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Ramp's relationships with a portfolio of major global professional services, GSI, and consulting firms
  • Map each firm and build credibility with partners, practice leaders, alliance teams, and client-service teams
  • Develop partnership theses, executive sponsor plans, target practices, and client wedges
  • Negotiate and close the first formal agreements between Ramp and these firms
  • Build executive events, thought leadership, and shared client stories with leadership, marketing, and product teams
  • Coordinate Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Product, AI Solutions, and executive sponsors across firm relationships
  • Establish and maintain relationship maps, firm plans, account maps, and next steps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in consulting, alliances, partnerships or an adjacent role
  • Time inside a top-tier professional services or global consulting firm is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional executive presence
  • Fluency in how large, matrixed professional services firms work
  • Proven ability to run many workstreams and manage complex stakeholders
  • Builder's instinct; comfortable without a playbook and able to bring structure to ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
  • Willingness to be based in a major metro; New York preferred
