About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and ship new features for Ramp’s iOS app
  • Work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the mobile codebase
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to bring new features and experiences to life
  • Learn from customer feedback and help continuously improve the product
  • Contribute to engineering tools and processes that help the team move quickly and scale
  • Own projects from inception through scaling in production
  • Contribute to technical design and engineering culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating December 2027 or later
  • Experience with Swift and/or iOS development through internships, coursework, or personal projects
  • Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of mobile development concepts
  • Experience building a mobile app, feature, or relevant project
  • Ability to turn product ideas into thoughtful engineering solutions
  • Desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SwiftUI is a nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with mobile design patterns and best practices is a nice-to-have
  • Experience shipping an iOS app or feature to real users is a nice-to-have
  • Exposure to Swift Concurrency, The Composable Architecture, Bazel, OpenAPI, or Buildkite is a nice-to-have
  • Experience with web or backend development is a nice-to-have
  • Must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, the Greater New York City area and work from the NYC office for the duration of the internship
