About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp’s internal teams during high-value implementations and expansion opportunities
  • Guide integration, configuration, and system design
  • Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable ERP, HRIS, and API integration solutions
  • Support technical workstreams with onboarding specialists and implementation leads
  • Problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations
  • Participate in technical discovery of customer systems and workflows
  • Recommend best-fit Ramp architecture, including when and how to use Ramp’s API
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across HRIS and Accounting integration partners
  • Advocate for integration development with Sales, Product, and partners
  • Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide complex configuration decisions without writing code directly
  • Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for integration use cases
  • Channel customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap
  • Define customer financial and technical success criteria from onboarding through activation and expansion
  • Represent Product, Design, and Engineering externally

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
  • 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle Fusion
  • Familiarity with finance/accounting workflows
  • Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
  • Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Adaptable and resourceful
