About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, end-to-end, smoke, sanity, and complex calculations/payroll testing
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software systems
Monitor automated test suites, analyze test results, and troubleshoot defects in real time
Collaborate with development teams for defect resolution
Configure and maintain test environments and automation frameworks
Collaborate with technical leads to evaluate and implement new test automation tools
Create detailed test plans and low-level test case documentation
Participate in Agile ceremonies
Work with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive testing coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 4+ years of total experience in Quality Assurance
Mandatory experience in both automation and manual testing
Expertise with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in open-source automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
Expertise in Windows and Web UI testing
Experience in API and mobile application testing is an added advantage
Solid understanding of test automation best practices, including Page Object Models
Experience with complex systems, particularly Payroll systems
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong sense of ownership
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work during India timing
