About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage supply chain activities for RSR’s APAC client portfolio
Manage relationships with RSR’s APAC suppliers and specific operating companies
Lead and line-manage suppliers within the Extended SCM Leadership Team
Set clear supplier objectives aligned with customer, performance, team and global strategy
Ensure Platinum and Gold clients receive contracted Supply Chain services
Deploy supplier relationship management strategy and governance structures
Provide “Data as a service” using global supplier spend to generate business and client insights
Work with Implementations and Operations to promote preferred suppliers during client implementation Discovery phases
Monitor SCM Operations delivery and support operations projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Sales, Solution Design, SP360 and Operations on preferred suppliers and SCM delivery
Support sales processes by communicating the Supply Chain value proposition
Help define organizational objectives, team strategy, policy and improvement programs
Build strategic relationships with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders
Assist in building and leading a high-performance management consulting-style team
Partner with Sales to define Supply Chain service packages in client contracts
Partner with Operations on client management responsibilities and post-go-live delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in related field required
8+ years of experience in a FTSE 100 / Fortune 500 or equivalent setting
Experience partnering effectively with senior business leaders up to MD level
Procurement / Supply Chain experience is an advantage
Experience in Management Consulting or Professional Services is an advantage
MSP experience is preferred but not necessary
Track record of developing and successfully implementing strategic plans
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Ability to distill complex strategies and ideas into effective messaging for senior executives, business leaders and staff
Strong track record and positive reputation influencing others toward a common vision or goal
Effective problem-solving, consulting and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to work as a team player and through others
Highly organized; able to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities
Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones
Ability to ensure consistency and alignment with functional and divisional leaders and strategies
Willingness to undertake occasional domestic, regional and long-haul travel
