About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage supply chain activities for RSR’s APAC/Global client portfolio
- Manage relationships with RSR’s APAC/Global suppliers and specific operating companies
- Lead and line-manage suppliers as part of the Extended SCM Leadership Team
- Set clear supplier objectives aligned with customer, team and leadership strategies
- Deliver Supply Chain services to Platinum and Gold clients
- Deploy supplier relationship management strategies and governance structures
- Provide Data as a Service using global supplier spend to generate business insights
- Use data insights to support business strategy, client problem-solving, supplier value and commercial benefits
- Partner with Implementations and Operations to promote preferred suppliers during client implementation discovery
- Monitor SCM Operations delivery and support operations projects and improvement initiatives
- Partner with Sales, Solution Design, SP360 and Operations on preferred suppliers and SCM delivery
- Support sales processes by communicating the Supply Chain value proposition
- Define organizational objectives, team strategy, policies and improvement programs
- Build strategic supplier and client relationships
- Build and lead a high-performance, consulting-oriented team
- Partner with Sales to define Supply Chain service packages in client contracts and resource client-run obligations
- Partner with Operations on post-go-live client management and ongoing service delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- 8+ years of experience in a FTSE 100 / Fortune 500 or equivalent setting
- Experience partnering effectively with senior business leaders up to MD level
- Procurement / Supply Chain experience is an advantage
- Experience in Management Consulting or Professional Services is an advantage
- MSP experience is preferred but not necessary
- Track record of developing and successfully implementing strategic plans
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to distill complex strategies and ideas into effective messaging for senior executives, business leaders and staff
- Strong track record and positive reputation for influencing others toward a common vision or goal
- Effective problem-solving, consulting and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels
- Excellent active listening skills
- Team player able to work with and through others
- Highly organized; able to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment and manage multiple priorities
- Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones

- Ability to support critical projects and initiatives where relevant, unless located in Far East Asia
- Domestic, regional and long-haul travel may be required, though not regularly
