About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and scale the Canadian sales team
  • Drive growth across strategic accounts from coast to coast
  • Manage sellers responsible for selling Rapid7’s cybersecurity software portfolio across Canada
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to exceed regional revenue targets
  • Recruit, enable, train, and coach new hires in Rapid7’s sales methodology and product knowledge
  • Build and grow channel partner relationships across Canada
  • Partner with the channel team to expand reach and accelerate pipeline
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen Rapid7’s brand and presence in Canada
  • Strategize on positioning and competitive differentiation for cybersecurity software products
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Engineering, and People Strategy
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Report to the Director of Enterprise Sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in a quota-carrying enterprise software sales role as an individual contributor
  • 3–5 years in a sales leadership role or team lead capacity
  • Proven experience selling into enterprise accounts across Canada
  • Established regional network in Canada
  • Clear understanding of the customer buying process and sales methodologies within the enterprise software space
  • Deep knowledge of the Canadian channel ecosystem
  • Track record of building and leveraging partner relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 25% across Canada as needed
  • Accountability for business growth, target attainment, accurate pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Strategic decision-making capabilities
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity within a high-growth environment
  • Alignment with company core values
