About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the sales team on complex healthcare opportunities involving EHR integrations, data flows, security requirements, organizational structures, technical workflows, and enterprise deployment
  • Lead technical discovery of prospects’ technology stacks, EHR environments, workflows, integrations, security requirements, and technical success criteria
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations focused on prospect priorities and use cases
  • Identify technical blockers and work with internal teams to determine feasibility, requirements, and next steps
  • Represent rater8 in discussions with IT, security, digital, marketing, patient experience, and executive stakeholders
  • Explain rater8 integrations with EHRs and other systems, including APIs, data exchange, authentication, SSO, and related workflows
  • Own or support technical responses for RFPs, security questionnaires, architecture questions, and enterprise technology reviews
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success on complex solution design
  • Build technical resources, demo assets, diagrams, documentation, and repeatable sales processes
  • Identify recurring technical requirements and communicate them to Product and Engineering
  • Help uncover technical requirements earlier, improve demonstrations, reduce friction in enterprise evaluations, and support larger healthcare opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role
  • Experience supporting complex SaaS sales cycles
  • Healthcare SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with health systems, medical groups, DSOs, hospitals, or other complex healthcare organizations is a significant plus
  • Strong technical discovery and product demonstration skills
  • Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data exchange, authentication, SSO, and modern SaaS architecture
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR environments and healthcare interoperability
  • Understanding of HIPAA, security reviews, SOC 2, and enterprise healthcare IT expectations
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders
  • RFP ownership experience
  • Strong judgment regarding when to answer, investigate further, or involve Product or Engineering
  • Commercial mindset focused on helping customers make confident buying decisions
  • Must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Must not reside in California
  • Reliable Wi-Fi
  • Other duties as assigned
