About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage with RBC clients through phone, email, and other communication channels to deliver an outstanding client experience and help protect clients
  • Educate and advise clients on immediate security needs and provide tailored solutions to prevent fraud losses
  • Resolve problems at the first point of contact in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC
  • Contribute to team results by supporting colleagues in meeting client needs
  • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to meet the technological and confidentiality requirements of the role, including a private and quiet space and Internet connectivity
  • Proven interpersonal, communication and problem resolution skills
  • Proven ability to build rapport while effectively analyzing and identifying solutions to mitigate risk and protect clients
  • Desire to build exceptional client experiences and passion and curiosity to help clients meet their needs and solve concerns
  • Full flexibility for shifts from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to midnight; department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Bilingualism in English and French required
  • Experience working in a team and metrics-based performance environment is nice-to-have
  • Previous experience in a contact/call centre or fast-paced financial and/or service industry is nice-to-have
