About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee branch staff and operations, including onboarding, training and motivating branch staff, providing work direction, and resolving or escalating supervision issues
  • Ensure effective communication of policy and procedural changes affecting branch employees
  • Onboard new accounts and accurately record, credit, and transmit client securities and coupons according to required procedures
  • Oversee cage activities and timely transaction processing
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships and answer account questions
  • Facilitate transfers of funds and securities
  • Complete trades in client accounts
  • Process checks, wires and ACHs in a timely manner
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Complex management and the branch on operational matters
  • Model, encourage and develop a positive, productive branch team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of financial services experience with a solid knowledge of industry rules and regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication and computer skills
  • Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63/65) or the ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Attention to detail coupled with the mindset of how you can make the branch more efficient and effective
  • Bachelor’s degree or job related experience
  • Supervisory experience
