About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive annual bookings sales growth across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky
  • Develop new district relationships and expand existing accounts

  • Source 70% of pipeline through self-generated outbound activity
  • Generate approximately 25 qualified meetings per month and $600k–$1M per quarter in additional pipeline
  • Build and maintain relationships across 50 Strategic Districts
  • Deliver presentations remotely, at customer locations, and at events
  • Demonstrate models tied to district literacy metrics, MTSS outcomes, and funding alignment
  • Manage pricing, procurement navigation, proposals, and contracting
  • Qualify and progress opportunities through formal stages toward a 35% close rate
  • Maintain over 95% CRM accuracy in HubSpot and deliver accurate weekly forecasts
  • Track and improve stage-to-stage conversion rates
  • Partner with pedagogy, marketing, and implementation teams to close complex instructional deals and ensure seamless client handoffs
  • Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory for client visits, needs evaluation, and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in selling in the education field
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying education or enterprise B2B sales experience with a documented record of annual quota attainment success
  • Expertise with HubSpot, forecasting tools, structured deal management, and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Genuine enthusiasm for improving educational outcomes and belief in the value of the products
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence delivering engaging presentations to small and large audiences
  • Ability to discuss ROI, funding pathways, instructional impact metrics, and district compliance requirements
  • Prior experience successfully navigating complex instructional and compliance-driven K-12 education deals preferred
  • Ability to work at a screen for extended periods, use standard input devices, and participate in virtual meetings
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
