About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Organise and maintain employee records, including conducting file audits and gap analysis
  • Review and update policies and procedures
  • Support drafting and updating employee handbooks
  • Update internal databases and upload employee files
  • Liaise with hiring managers on job specifications, candidate filtering and shortlisting, first-stage interviews, and the full recruitment lifecycle up to junior management level
  • Prepare HR documents, including employment contracts, new starter offer packs, training agreements, and promotion letters
  • Manage and coordinate new starter onboarding and induction programmes
  • Manage and coordinate leaver processes and workflows
  • Liaise with external partners such as drug and alcohol or occupational health testing partners
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Assist payroll by providing employee information such as leave, sick days, and work schedules
  • Manage reference, right-to-work, criminal record, and other relevant checks
  • Provide template letters for mortgage, visa, and jury service duty exemption applications
  • Coordinate and issue end-of-probation reviews and annual appraisals
  • Support minute-taking at disciplinary and performance management hearings
  • Participate in HR projects such as job fairs, salary benchmarking, and benefits initiatives
  • Project the company image and brand to clients through various media
  • Develop relationships with team members, departments, and stakeholders
  • Perform general personal assistant duties including travel booking, invoicing, expense management, information collation for the company accountant, website and social media management, and sales support
  • Work with the internal team to ensure timely service delivery and that client expectations are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and strong Excel skills
  • Analytical and methodical
  • Ability to work with Senior and Executive Management and deliver efficient and accurate information
  • Superlative people and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to perform well in a pressurised and fast-paced environment
  • Superb written and spoken English at corporate level
  • CIPD Associate Member qualification or willingness to work towards the qualification is nice to have
  • Experience within a Group HR Advisory role in a group and global organisation is nice to have
  • Exposure to supporting HR processes with Overseas teams is nice to have
