About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for all new positions, from job description through onboarding
  • Represent Red Barrels at external events
  • Plan staffing needs with department heads according to project growth
  • Provide daily HR support to employees regarding group insurance, training, vacations, parental leave, immigration, and related requests
  • Support team leaders and deploy HR plans and programs in compliance with current laws
  • Set objectives and monitor progress in performance management, skills development, training, and career development
  • Guide managers in leadership development, team building, and difficult conversations
  • Maintain HR-related software and systems, including BambooHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, and 1%
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with labor laws and standards
  • Contribute to drafting, improving, and maintaining HR policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations or human resources
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR generalist
  • Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA or CRIA) is an asset
  • Experience in a creative environment
  • Comfortable working independently in a hands-on generalist HR role with limited infrastructure
  • Ability to think outside the box and propose creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships based on trust
  • Bilingual in French and English to serve all employees
