About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and launch resilient, high-performance web applications and secure APIs
Process and visualize multi-source intelligence data, including social media feeds, audio streams, and geolocation telemetry
Partner with Product, Design, Domain SMEs, and Engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into user experiences
Deploy alongside tactical operators and iteratively build, validate, and optimize custom tools in national security operational contexts
Extend and strengthen Andesite’s core platform capabilities
Ensure seamless data integration, low-latency performance, and scalable infrastructure across product offerings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Active TS security clearance
Minimum of 5 years of full stack engineering experience
Experience developing responsive, scalable frontends and APIs
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
Proficiency in Python and Javascript
Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency with AI coding tools and harness development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in an early stage (Seed / Series A) startup
Preferred: Experience developing AI products leveraging natural language processing, computer vision, or other machine learning techniques
