About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert at customer sites, addressing technical, development, or strategic IT requirements
- Implement and integrate Red Hat open and hybrid cloud solutions, including OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform
- Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals
- Contribute to project documentation, diagrams, and support case management
- Mentor and share knowledge with customers and the team
- Define and promote automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud lifecycle, infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
- Implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods
- Design and develop cloud-ready application architectures, automated container platforms, and deployment pipelines
- Lead onsite implementation of Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Container Storage, Ceph, and Ansible Automation Platform
- Understand customer infrastructure and business needs, make recommendations, and support strategic decisions
- Help customers build enterprise applications and capabilities around cloud technologies to streamline development and enable continuous application feature releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Platform or underlying components such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
- Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security
- Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to study independently, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Availability to work onsite at customer sites up to 100% of the time
- Prepared to work from customer sites
- Hands-on DevOps and Linux experience
