About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage senior TAM Managers and TAM individual contributors across APAC
  • Serve as a member of the APAC Services Leadership Team
  • Collaborate with Regional Services Leadership Teams on strategic alignment, go-to-market, and growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the APAC TAM business alongside Consulting and Training
  • Manage and optimize a consistent, capable, proactive, cross-functionally aligned TAM practice and delivery capability
  • Champion TAM for senior sales stakeholders and support TAM selling to achieve targets
  • Guide Technical Account Management in alignment with global guidelines and policies
  • Engage with strategic customers to build relationships, deliver value, and support renewals and growth
  • Provide hands-on support for strategic customer escalations
  • Foster collaboration among Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Tech Sales, Consulting & Training, and customers
  • Mentor, direct, and evaluate Managers and team members
  • Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements
  • Participate in hiring and cultivate a pipeline of talented candidates
  • Travel as necessary to visit customers and attend conferences and events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership or management role leading a high-performance customer-facing field organization in a technology-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated leadership of a complex, large, multi-country/region, multicultural organization
  • Experience leading transformational change within a large, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated record of managing a significant multi-million-dollar technology services business
  • Proven ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work with external partners and develop win-win relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to inspire, coach, and motivate team members
  • Ability to translate strategic plans into communication and implementation plans
  • Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically across all company levels
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills and timely decision-making ability
  • Experience handling critical situations
  • Customer-service focus and ability to deliver multiple priority projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong financial and operational understanding of recurring-revenue business models
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills and share knowledge effectively
  • Familiarity with Red Hat's portfolio and subscription business model
  • Knowledge of open-source software solutions and open source as a business model
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business discipline
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
