About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in team meetings aimed at alignment within the team
  • Develop and improve maintainability of a large-scale SaaS product
  • Contribute to improving the team’s processes
  • Improve system performance to increase scale
  • Help build new reporting tooling
  • Develop reporting tooling and improve system performance for a software platform handling large customer fleets
  • Work as a full part of the Host Based Inventory team
  • Learn how the team develops, deploys, and maintains a microservice-based system in a large-scale open-source ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic for the full duration of the internship
  • Must be able to join part-time from February 2027 through January 2028
  • Working knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Experience in coding
  • Basic experience programming in Python
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI), containerization, and microservices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and bring ideas to improve processes
  • Prior participation in open source software projects is an advantage
  • CV should clearly outline education, relevant projects, GitHub account, and extracurricular activities
