About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement automated virtualization and container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures
Design and guide implementations of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure projects, including virtualization and container technologies
Implement automated hybrid-cloud application platform solutions involving networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience
Build production-ready container and virtualization platforms integrated with existing enterprise systems
Implement complex, large-scale container platform solutions in customer environments
Deliver expertise in container orchestration, registries, build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks
Support customers using Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, DevOps, and GitOps practices
Collaborate with financial services, retail, telecommunications, and public sector clients
Ensure collaborative delivery of customer requirements using Red Hat OpenShift
Mentor fellow consultants on DevOps and GitOps paired with container technologies
Contribute lessons learned and best practices to internal and external communities of practice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading modern cloud platform consulting engagements
Experience as a strategic advisor to senior IT and business executives
Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel to customer locations across London, the UK, and EMEA
Fluency in English required
Nice to Have: Technical experience with VMware ESXi software, including vCenter, vSan, NSX
