Key responsibilities & impact

Lead execution of multiple complex programs aligned with business objectives
Mentor and guide junior team members
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
Manage program risks and develop creative solutions to challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain accountability for program outcomes
Prepare and present executive-level reports and program updates
Coordinate team activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope
Coach and mentor junior project and program managers
Maintain professionalism when solving problems and resolving issues
Develop foundational knowledge of Red Hat technologies
Maintain awareness of emerging Red Hat technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Top Secret security clearance
Knowledge of industry project management and technical delivery methodologies based on PMI, system and software development, product development, or scrum
5+ years of experience managing customer-facing IT consulting projects
Ability to affect, inspect, and adapt company culture
Demonstrated ability to motivate project teams and individual contributors and mediate conflicts
Experience using project management and Agile tools, frameworks, and methodologies
Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Frequent travel may be required to work alongside public sector customers
Scrum Master or Project Management certifications are a plus
