Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop scalable, reusable software frameworks and libraries to increase efficiency across teams while adhering to ISO26262 Safety Standards
Oversee end-to-end implementation of complex solutions from initial design through final delivery
Develop custom Python or Bash tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve engineering productivity
Implement software components according to safety goals, ASIL requirements and system constraints
Develop and optimize processes compliant with ISO26262 standards
Architect, design and implement front-end and back-end systems using React and Flask
Optimize database schemas and implement high-performance queries for large datasets
Guide and mentor junior engineers on technical issues, coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with product owners, managers and stakeholders to define requirements and achieve certification
Lead Agile processes and prioritize tasks for delivery within strict timelines
Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications and design definitions
Conduct peer code reviews for compliance with coding guidelines such as MISRA
Perform static code analysis using Coverity Scan to identify and mitigate issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role
Three (3) years of experience with pipeline cloud platforms
Three (3) years of experience with infrastructure as code tools for infrastructure deployments and configurations
Three (3) years of experience with Podman and OpenShift
Three (3) years of experience with Python, Golang and Bash
Three (3) years of experience building front-end and back-end web applications using React and Flask
Three (3) years of experience with secure coding practices and integration tools for code quality checks and runtime security using Coverity Scan and OSCI tools
Two (2) years of experience with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Two (2) years of experience with ISO26262, at least Part-6 Software Development and Safety lifecycle process
Two (2) years of experience tagging, inheriting and building packages
Two (2) years of experience with Configuration Management and Change Management for Functional Safety
