About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with a mentor on automating tasks in the RHEL Virtualization product pipeline, focusing on storage technologies
  • Work within a distributed team on virtualization storage features in QEMU and/or libvirt
  • Collaborate with upstream QEMU and Libvirt communities
  • Work with stakeholders in the agile scrum team, including the product owner
  • Work on CI systems and implement automated tests
  • Learn and develop through the internship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship
  • Must be able to join part-time from February 2027 till January 2028
  • University-level knowledge of C and Python programming languages
  • Working knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally
  • Willingness to learn new things and proactivity working as part of a wider team
  • CV should clearly outline education, relevant projects, GitHub account, and extracurricular activities
