About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Improve the security posture of Red Hat Developer Hub
Develop new features and address existing defects and bugs
Expand, automate, and streamline vulnerability and dependency management
Learn and understand the technologies involved
Learn security processes
Contribute to upstream projects by submitting and reviewing patches for bug fixes and feature requests
Document and maintain software functionality
Participate on a scrum team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic for the full duration of the internship
Must be able to join part-time from February 2027 through January 2028
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Experience with TypeScript, YAML/JSON, and Docker
Experience with Shell scripting
Experience with Git
Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) infrastructure
Passion for open source technologies
Golang experience is a plus
CV should clearly outline education, relevant projects, GitHub account, and extracurricular activities
