Key responsibilities & impact
  • Become a trusted adviser within Red Hat's customer base and build lasting customer relationships
  • Provide pre-sales technical support for complex solution development and implementation
  • Understand customer business and IT environments and assess applications of Red Hat solutions with sales teams
  • Present complex solutions and design value-driven architectures
  • Explain the application and business value of Red Hat solutions
  • Understand technology and industry trends and connect them to customer value
  • Participate in and guide vertical and industry-specific subject matter expert teams
  • Create white papers, reference architectures, and industry-specific technical collateral
  • Share knowledge and findings with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience as a consultant, sales engineer, or similar role
  • Deep experience in multiple Red Hat product verticals or related competitive products
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Experience with both technical and cultural implementation challenges for cloud-native environments
