About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead recruitment efforts for sourcing and selection of management candidates
- Build strong candidate pipelines and use creative sourcing techniques
- Partner with Human Resources Business Partners to maintain division management staffing levels and support Manager in Training talent acquisition for new restaurant growth
- Plan and implement recruitment advertising and sourcing within approved budgets and strategies
- Manage company career sites and Internet job board postings
- Use social media networking strategies and participate in college career fair activities
- Manage recruiting agencies and other recruiting strategies
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, employee referrals, and other channels
- Conduct and facilitate management interviews via video and ensure consistency in the selection process
- Maintain communication with new Manager in Training hires through the initial training process
- Facilitate workforce planning for internal candidates with operations directors
- Execute talent acquisition system responsibilities, including sourcing, resume screening, applicant tracking, background checks, candidate communications, and new hire administration
- Ensure process compliance to minimize company risk and liability
- Deliver professional talent acquisition services to operations leaders and a positive candidate experience
- Support hiring managers in using the Applicant Tracking System and troubleshoot or escalate technical issues
- Submit timely and accurate expense reports and manage the recruitment budget
- Provide subject-matter knowledge on talent acquisition topics including compensation, benefits, relocation, and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of three (3) years high volume recruiting experience for regional or national hospitality or retail organization
- Strong computer and technology skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, ATS systems and video interviewing
- Excellent written, oral, and electronic communications skills
- Superior organization skills
- Strong analytical skills
- PeopleSoft or similar HCM systems
- Ability to self-start and engage appropriate resources as needed
- Ability to work independently on most aspects of the job
- Ability to build strong relationships with operations leaders and maintain a guest-relations focus with applicants
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities based on business needs
- Demonstrated initiative and results-orientation
- Strong professional curiosity and desire to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of the Talent Acquisition team
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Administration or Business Administration preferred
- SHRM Certification preferred
- Social media recruiting experience preferred
- Previous restaurant operations experience preferred
