About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, write, and edit manuscripts, abstracts, slide presentations, posters, and other deliverables
- Collaborate on highly visible client projects involving pharmaceutical products and medical technologies
- Review study data and distill it into thorough, well-written deliverables
- Communicate with team members to achieve content development goals
- Deliver work by designated deadlines and understand the project development process
- Work collaboratively in onsite and remote team environments
- Ask supervisors for assistance when appropriate
- Save all deliverable versions to team files using standardized file-naming criteria
- Work respectfully and productively with the internal team
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD, PhD in the life sciences, or PharmD required
- Prior experience writing peer-reviewed publications, congress abstracts, posters, and slide decks
- Ability to independently write and edit scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and training materials
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a virtual setting
- Outstanding organizational/time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of the AMA writing style
- Team player with a detail-oriented work ethic
- Understanding and familiarity with current AMA style
- Ability to determine the accuracy of scientific information and data in biological fields
- Understanding of preclinical and clinical drug development
- Knowledge of components of well-written communications across deliverables
- Working knowledge of good publication practices
